Ever noticed how some old photographs go green in the sun? It’s almost as if the love-filter we see our memories through is visible over time, as if the light of day literally affects our memories.

oldies but goodies
The past seems to gloss and glow much more then the present sometimes – is the grass (and the past) always greener from here, from the other side?

Old photos turning green evoke feelings of love, gratitude and the importance of cherishing what we have. ( as also reflected in the artwork of Alena Aviva Hannah)
The couple in the image shown are my grandparents. My grandfather is the second husband of my grandmother.
Her first husband died at 42 in a sanitarium.
He died in a room painted blue.
My father, aged 11 at the time, therafter never wrote with a blue pen He only wrote with a green pen.
Further affirmation that the colour green is forever tied to love, gratitude and a reminder to always cherish what we have right now.
