I Heart Green started out as an art project, and became a place for fun. Green indicates a visual reference – a colour – and also an environmental one, just as this is an exploration of both art-making and all things concerned with living ‘green’, it is also just about the average meanderings of an average girl.

Alena Russell is a mother of one, writer, artist and green building student. Sometimes known as @cheekysoul she can also be found on twitter where you can follow her and she can follow you. Alena dreamed of this website whilst driving one day and writes and contributes to the content through her passion for self knowledge, technology and renewable green solutions and generally interesting stuff.
